Outrageous 2,000-HP Lamborghini Gallardo Hits 233 MPH, Sets 1/2-Mile World Record

We're not exactly sure who officiates these apparent world records – Guinness doesn't seem to be anywhere in sight – but according to That Racing Channel, this Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo has just cracked the half-mile record, clocking a speed of 233 mph. Set at the WannaGOFast 1/2 mile event held at Jumbolair airstrip, the Gallardo is packing UR's X-Version twin-turbocharger kit, and comes with over 2,000 horsepower.
