Based on the Huayra BC Roadster, this is craftsmanship turned up to 11.
Luxury car sales have skyrocketed during the pandemic, and high-end automakers are capitalizing on this immensely. Mulliner recently revealed a one-off version of the Bentley Bentayga while Bugatti showed off a stunning Chiron Sport, also limited to a production run of just one. Pagani is not one to shy away from creating specialist machines for the well-heeled, and its latest creation is a stunner. Meet the Pagani Huayra BC Supernova Roadster. Commissioned by entrepreneur Olivier Benloulou, this one-of-one masterpiece is dripping in Pagani class. As always, the price is inconsequential. You just know that it had a lot of zeroes on the end of it yet was probably pocket change for its new owner.
As always, every last characteristic of the Pagani hypercar is exquisitely finished. That exposed carbon fiber body is finished in a color called Ora Rosa, which translates as rose gold, with Bronzo Chiaro and Diamond Sparkle wheels and accents. Red pinstriping also decorates part of the body for a racy contrast, with the calipers painted a scarlet to match.
Being a Pagani, you can be sure that every last weave of carbon on the body lines up perfectly wherever it meets the next. The result is a jaw-droppingly gorgeous body that will likely deservedly be the center of attention in a climate-controlled garage.
The inside of the Supernova is a little odd, however. Of course, there's plenty of carbon fiber, milled aluminum, and sumptuous leather, but the coloring may be a little strange to some. That bronzed carbon finish for the body is applied to the center transmission tunnel too, with the gear-lever made of wood. We're sure that the wood is some rare and expensive type of timber, but it looks a little out of place. Helping make it look at home, the seats are finished in a tan shade of leather with tartan fabric inserts. Elsewhere, there's Alcantara on the steering wheel and dash while the cluster has a gold tinge. We're not totally convinced that this is the prettiest Pagani around, but it sure grabs your attention.
