Pagani announced last week that the successor to the powerful and impressive Zonda R would be making its debut on June 29th at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Zonda R EVO, as it will be known, features less weight and more power for a ridiculous ride perfect for the track. Marchettino has caught the new model on camera and it looks terrific. Seen around Pagani HQ during the Vanishing Point event, the EVO packs a tweaked suspension and powerful 771hp output from its upgraded 6.0-liter V12 engine.

Combined with a weight of just 2,360lbs, it should be able to blast off the line to 62mph in under 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of over 218mph. 771hp is a seriously high number for a Pagani. In the video below, however, it only has 4 people-power.
