Porsche takes its upcoming facelifted Panamera to the Nurburgring as development of the mid-cycle refresh continues.
The testing season at the Nurburgring has officially started and one of the first cars to be spied being put through its paces at the Ring is the facelifted Porsche Panamera. As previously reported, the Sport Turismo Concept which Porsche displayed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show provides styling cues for the mid-cycle refresh model and a clear direction for the next-generation model which the German automaker is expected to roll out a few years from now.
As with previous spy shots of the super sedan, the prototype was completely undisguised giving us a chance to check out its new bumpers and lights again. Upgrades to the engine, transmission and interior will help the refreshed model keep pace with Audi's new RS7 Sportback, BMW's 6 Series Gran Coupe and Aston Martin's Rapide S when it hits the roads later this year.
