Since Paul Walker's passing almost two years ago, it has come to light that the well-loved actor was much more than just a car guy. In addition to his on screen legacy in The Fast And Furious movie series, Walker was also a tremendous philanthropist. In fact, on the day he was killed in that tragic car accident he was leaving an event hosted by his own charitable fund, Reach Out World Wide (ROWW). ROWW specializes in providing first response disaster relief and was founded by Walker after he visited Haiti on an aid mission in 2010.

It would now appear as if Paul Walker's 16-year-old daughter, Meadow, is following in her father's philanthropic footsteps. On September 12 this year, what would have been Paul Walker's 42nd birthday, Meadow launched The Paul Walker Foundation in her father's honor.

The Foundation works in collaboration with the Monterey Bay Aquarium to sponsor scholarships for teens who are passionate about the ocean. According to Meadow, the ocean and sea life were some of her father's greatest passions and this is something she wanted to share with the world. Upon launching the Foundation she stated, "I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others."
