PGO Cevennes Ultimately Goes Back To Retro Black

Classic Cars

The 2011 PGO Cevennes Ultimate Black aims to offer a retro-style two-seater that's reminiscent of the classic 1950s and 60s Porsches. More specifically, the Porsche 356 comes to mind, but the PGO Cevennes is fully modern both inside and out. In other words, it's less likely to break down. It's constructed from a composite molded body shell. The interior design combines full grain leather surrounded in a black matte finish.

Some of the technical features include a McPherson suspension system, assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and four ventilated disks located behind its 17-inch black alloy wheels that are wrapped in 205/40 ZR17 performance tires. Power comes from a mid-engine four-cylinder 2-liter that produces 138hp at 6000rpm. A five-speed manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels. It reportedly goes from 0 to 62mph in less than 7 seconds. No official pricing or timing of availability was announced.
