With the reveal of the 2015 Ford F-150, the full-size truck war has just been taken to an entirely new level. By incorporating lightweight high strength steel and plenty of aluminum, Ford managed to shave some 700 lbs. off the F-150. Compared to its Chevy Silverado and Ram 1500 rivals, the F-150 represents a serious threat. Not only does it offer a brand new turbo V6 with plenty of power and grunt, the F-150 will also lead the former two in fuel economy numbers.

Ironically enough, the Silverado was launched at exactly this time last year, and the new F-150 is making it seem, well, somewhat dated. So who will win this round? We'll put our money on the F-150 – for now.
