Tuners Piecha Design have been known to give Mercedes-Benz models some nice aftermarket packages. The Germans have already tried their hand at such Mercedes as the SLK, ML and E-Class cabrio. Their take on the post-2008 facelift Mercedes-Benz SL R230 doesn't disappoint. The package includes bespoke LED daytime headlights and fog lamps. The AMG bumper borrowed from the SL63 and SL65 are paired with a three-piece front spoiler lip to complement the new headlight features.

A matching rear lip spoiler gives the SL R230 a fitting new look. The SL R230 sits on Piecha's new 20-inch titanium MP1 monoblock wheel set. The ride height has also been lowered by 30mm. A four tailpipe stainless-steel Quadro sports exhaust system has been added to give the Mercedes a more resounding note. A power converter and revised roof module allow the hardtop convertible to be opened or closed mid-ride at speeds of up to 37mph. The Piecha Design kit for the Mercedes-Benz SL R230 gives the Mercedes line a great new feel and sporty look.
