We've only just been introduced to the new M8 Coupe, Convertible and Competition, but BMW is wasting no time revealing its range of M Performance parts for the automaker's new flagship sedan. According to BMW, the accessories are inspired by the M8 GTE race car and are designed to not only enhance the sporty appearance of the models but also to improve performance in terms of lightweight construction and aerodynamics. You'll be able to pimp out all versions of the new M8 with the components, including the range-topping M8 Competition.

In addition to the optional Carbon Package, BMW is offering a selection of carbon fiber exterior components, including sill attachments that make the M8 appear to look longer, an M Performance carbon fiber radiator grille, and M Performance carbon fiber side decorative grille that makes the front look even more menacing. In addition, there's also an M Performance engine cover that's only visible when the hood is open.

If you want to further improve the M8's already impressive performance, BMW is offering M Performance brake pads that shorten the braking distance and provide improved response to the brake pedal. They are derived directly from the BMW Motorsport long-distance racing pads, resulting in racing-style steering when braking into a bend as compared to the standard configuration.

Also available is an M Performance Pro steering wheel with carbon fiber shift paddles and carbon fiber/Alcantara or carbon fiber/leather trim. BMW says it offers excellent grip and a more direct steering feel thanks to its impressively shaped Alcantara grip areas with large thumb rests and a special underlay. Adding to the racing theme are shift symbols in bold red and a blue central marking on the M Performance Pro steering wheel. The seam also features the hallmark M colors of blue, red and violet.

BMW's M Performance parts aren't restricted to just visual and performance upgrades, however, as BMW is also offering a practical indoor car cover that protects the M8 from dirt and scratches when parked in the garage. The cover is machine-washable and made of elastic polyester and highlights various design features when covering the car, such as the kidney grille, with printed badges and inscriptions. Finally, BMW makes M Performance wheel bags available to keep your second set of wheels clean when storing or transporting them.
