Power Division - a relatively unknown Poland-based tuner- has announced a new Stage 4 kit for the Audi RS7. The Stage 4 kit increases the power to 1,044 horsepower and 883 lb-ft of torque. That's 453 hp and 293 lb-ft more than the standard V8, which produces 591 hp and 590 lb-ft. It's basically an additional RS5 powertrain under the hood.

Naturally, this has an epic effect on the performance. The tuner claims a 0-62 mph time of 2.4 seconds, which is massively quick for an ICE-powered luxury cruiser. We're more impressed with the in-gear acceleration, however. It will get from 62-124 mph in 4.6 seconds. That means the Power Division Stage 4 RS7 accelerates quicker from 62-124 mph than a Bugatti Veyron.

Power Division fits upgrades for the low- and high-pressure fuel pumps, a new intake system, a new intercooler kit, racing spark plugs, a water-methanol injection kit, and a new set of hybrid turbochargers. The ECU and telematics control unit are also remapped using Magic Motorsport's StageX software. Finally, the tuner removes the Otto Particulate Filter and the 155 mph soft limiter. PD doesn't state whether the maximum top speed of 190 mph is increased, but with that power bump, the Stage 4 RS7 should be capable of 200 mph.

A beast like this needs more extensive piping to breathe properly, so Power Division includes its own exhaust manifolds and de-catted downpipes. There's a good chance this car breaks every noise pollution law in the book, so think twice before placing an order. If you live in California, you can forget about it.

Our only concern is the brakes. The standard units are likely not powerful enough to cope with the vast power increase, so it's good to see this particular unit is equipped with Audi's optional ceramic brakes.

Power Division did not go over the top with the styling, a welcome break from the norm. The car is wrapped in Satin Gold, contrasting beautifully with the black body trimmings and charcoal 22-inch Turismo SF-1 wheels. Maxton Design is known for classy body kits for Volkswagen Group products, and it supplied the front splitter, side skirts, and spoiler cap. The interior, however, appears to have been left unaltered.

Power Division specializes in Audi RS models equipped with either the 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 or the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. It also offers upgraded turbochargers and exhaust manifolds for the Lamborghini Urus, which uses a modified version of Audi's V8 engine.

Unfortunately, the Stage 4 kit is limited to the RS7 and RS6 models, and you can't have 1,000+ horsepower in the RS Q8 or the Urus, which is not a bad thing considering the lack of more powerful braking options.
