Wimmer RS has been tuning Porsches for years, and now the company from Solingen, Germany, has returned with yet another take on Stuttgart's finest. The GT2 RS Muscle Play has just been released with a series of modifications to the 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six. These include a new pair of turbos, optimized induction, machined cylinder heads, new manifolds with bypass valves, a pair of 200-cell sport catalysts, a fresh fuel pump, pistons and connecting rods and a new flap-controlled sports exhaust.

The astonishing result is an increase in total output to 1,020 horsepower and 817 pound-feet of torque. Running on a set of custom 19-inch rims, the modified GT2 RS can accelerate from rest to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, reach 120 mph in 8.7 seconds and 180 mph in 15.5 seconds. Top speed is a claimed 242mph. Good luck getting all that power down to the rear wheels, though, because unlike the 911 Turbo, the GT2 is a strictly rear-drive affair.
