Porsche knows how to run a successful brand, and offers its clients a wide range of services and experiences that go far beyond simply purchasing a sports car. Porsche's Experience Centers, which are quickly expanding across the globe, offer Porsche owners and fans an impressive range of activities that can be enjoyed by young and old, but the biggest attraction has to be the driving experience.

Porsche lets fans drive everything from the legendary Porsche 911, all the way through to the all-electric Taycan on purpose-built tracks with an individual Porsche Drive coach. The carmaker has just announced that the latest 911 GT3 will now be available to drive at Porsche Experience Centers in Atlanta and Los Angeles.

The Atlanta experience center was opened in 2015 at a cost of $100 million and was soon followed by the Los Angeles center, where Porsche fans can experience the famous Nordschleife banked curve, a low friction handling circuit, a low friction circle, a showroom filled with classic Porsche cars, and lots more. These two centers will now offer the high-revving, naturally-aspirated 911 GT3 on a wide variety of track modules ranging from everyday driving situations to more technical driving environments.

"Like all Porsche sports cars, the new 911 GT3 is meant to be driven - and this one even more so, since it was born from motorsports and tailored to the road," said Kjell Gruner, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America. "The feel, the sound, and the dynamics make for a very special experience that anyone can enjoy on the closed track with personal instruction. I'm sure the new GT programs will bring an extra level of excitement to our centers in Atlanta and Los Angeles."

The Altana Experience center will offer a 90 minute 911 GT3 experience, a 90 minute 911 GT3 vs. 911 Turbo experience, and up until 31 March, you'll also be able to experience a 911 GT3 Generations drive for 90-minute or four-hour sessions, experiencing the differences between the 991 and 992. The Los Angeles facility will offer the same experiences, but also offers a four-hour accelerated GT3 experience, as well as a four-hour GT3 Generations experience.

The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing 502 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque. This allows the GT3 to sprint to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds (in PDK guise) and will top out at 197 mph. With a 9,000-rpm redline and razor-sharp handling, we don't think 90 minutes is going to be enough for most.
