Porsche will return to the top tier of endurance racing this weekend, ending its 16-year absence from the 24 Hours of Le Mans. To mark the occasion, a limited edition 911 has been knocked up, dubbed the Martini Racing Edition. Based on the Porsche 911 Carrera S, just 80 units of the special edition will be built. Buyers will choose between a white or black body, complete with Martini's iconic blue and red color livery highlighting the roof, rear wing, boot lid and sides.

Other exterior mods include an Aerokit Cup front apron and fixed rear spoiler. Inside, Porsche has added stainless-steel door sill panels with "911 Carrera S – Martini Racing Edition" in illuminated lettering, along with body-colored dashboard accents and a badge. The carmaker also fitted the Sport Chrono package, a sport steering wheel, black leather electric sports seats, a Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation module, and a Bose sound system. The 911 S Martini Racing Edition will go on sale in Europe this month, before hitting showrooms in China, Japan and Latin America.
