Really. It was just left for dead.
Sadly, situations such as this happen every now and then. A Porsche 911 Slantnose has been left abandoned, and it's a bit of a mystery as to why. To please all those Porschephiles out there, we'll specify the car: a 930 Turbo with the rare "Flachbau," the so-called "Slantnose," which began production in 1981. Barely 950 examples were made, each one having been handcrafted in order to remodel the front fenders. Even when the 930 Slantnose first went on sale it commanded a premium over the original sticker price.
It was rare more than 30 years ago and it's even rarer today. And some asshole just walked away and left this one in a Pittsburgh parking garage, of all places. It was found with completely flat tires and some surface rust around the underbody. The guy who found it estimates it's been sitting for at least a year or two. No other information is known, like who the hell owns it and why it was abandoned. Anyone have any clue what happened here?
