Porsche 911 Turbo Hits 212mph on the Texas Mile

A powerful Porsche reaches its top-end speed on the Texas Mile.

Todd Nall's Porsche 911 Turbo recently hit 212mph on the Texas Mile. The impressive German sports car took the strip last month and utilized its roughly 600hp (tuned, of course) engine to reach the impressive speed figure.

A stock Porsche 911 Turbo can reach a top speed of 194mph, so we are just as curious as you are as to how Nall and his crew were able to juice up the German model into Lamborghini Aventador territory. The Porsche can also run the quarter-mile in only 10.61 seconds.
