It's a battle of power versus weight.
We all know the Porsche 911 Turbo S is one of the best sports cars money can buy. Not only is it a great road car, but its power and all-wheel drive system has made it equally suited for the track. Its normal competition usually lies with other high power, high cost luxury sports cars, however the folks over at Autocar had a question: How would it fare against a much lighter, much less powerful track car? Something like a 185 hp Formula 4 racecar?
The nearly $200,000 Porsche produces an impressive 552 hp, however it also weighs just over 3,500 pounds. When compared to the Formula car's 1,135 lbs, we can start to see where the advantage may start to lie.
