German Porsche tuner speedART has revealed their latest project codenamed SP81-R based on the new Boxster. An aerodynamic body kit consists of a new rear wing, rear diffusor, side skirts and a front chin spoiler. The rear wing has been developed for mounting on the rear deck lid over the original spoiler and painted in speedART bicolor optics. A completely modified sport exhaust system with sport-catalysts and manifolds (optionally combined with a sound switch function) has also been fitted.

This, combined with an ECU remap, has increased power of the 981 models by 20hp and 15lb-ft of torque. The brand new 981 Boxster's 2.7-liter flat-six thus manages 285hp and 221lb-ft of torque; while the Boxster S is good for 335hp and 281lb-ft. The sport exhaust with sound switch is developed for individual sound control and can be combined with various tailpipe designs including different ultra-light Titanium sport exhaust systems. speedART offers different coloured 20- and 21-inch LSC-FORGED alloys as well as different sport suspensions.

These have been designed for street and race track use and include an adjustable sport suspension and an airlift suspension. Inside a newly designed interior utilizes leather and Alcantara. No pricing details have yet to be revealed.
