BMW X6 - watch your back.
BMW has already moved to the second-generation of its X6 coupe-styled crossover, while Mercedes plans to launch the similarly-styled MLC later this year. Now Porsche wants a piece of the action, with Auto Express claiming a sportier Cayenne Coupe could be with us as early as 2015. According to the British publication, a Porsche insider has revealed the coupe variant – based on the upcoming facelifted Cayenne – will blend the Cayenne’s nose with the 911’s sloping roofline.
Suspension and steering will be tuned for a sportier ride, while the car will be lowered and widened for better grip. Engine choices will ape those in the stock Cayenne, so V6 gasoline and diesel turbos, and V8s in the S and Turbo. Prices will be higher than the equivalent Cayenne despite having significantly reduced passenger and storage space.
