Dubbed the Nebulus, Porsche's luxury SUV gets a wild transformation.
The Porsche Cayenne is a sporty and stylish SUV, but as always, there will be someone who wants more than the original manufacturer has to offer. Some have even boosted the German SUV to past 1,000 horsepower and then unleashed it on the Autobahn. Others will rather spend extra on a lavish interior or tack on unsightly body kits. Whatever you prefer, there are plenty of options out there, and now there's one more.
Austrian tuning company Black Box-Richter has followed up its insane Audi RS7 with this, the Nebulus Porsche Cayenne named after the German lifestyle brand. This car certainly grabs your attention.
The first things you'll notice about the Nebulus are the bright red wheels in an anodized finish and the new wrap designed by 811 design. Those familiar with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare may note the resemblance between the design of the wrap and the Topo camouflage skins available in the game. To achieve this stunning effect, the car was wrapped in Obsidian black matte vinyl with Ruby red vinyl applied in varying thicknesses on top. The process of wrapping the car is a long one and takes approximately one week to complete. However, there's more to the Nebulus than just a new wrap.
Under the hood, the Nebulus features HGP Turbo upgrades with a new intake system featuring intake channels in blue or black. The intake manifolds are also worked on while the standard turbos have been upgraded with bigger turbine wheels and stronger thrust bearings. In addition, the speed limiter has been removed and the car has been tuned for optimal performance. The final output can be increased to as much as 962 horsepower and 921 lb-ft of torque. There's no word on the cost of the package, but we have no doubt that the end result is anything but cheap. But when the whole car draws attention like this, any figure is worth it to satisfy those who want to stand out.
