Will incorporate a PDK gearbox, engine remains a mystery.
It’s been less than two months since Porsche unveiled thehighest-performance variant of its Cayman model, the GTS. But now, a newreport indicates that the company is planning an even beastlier version of thecar, which should debut in the next three years. The Cayman GT4 will include the 911 GT3’s PDK gearbox, and will be powered by a yet-undecided engine. Itshould start at approximately $125,000, and will likely incorporate some formof hybrid technology.
The same report also indicates that similar treatment willbe given to the Porsche Boxster, which will be named the RS Spyder in this format. Also, 700-plus horsepower versions of the Panamera and 911 Turbo are apparentlyunder works, and will incorporate hybrid technology sourced from the 918Spyder.
