For John Willhoit, that hobby is restoring old Porsches, with his bread and butter coming from his own specialty Porsche restoration shop in Los Angeles. Think of the place as a Stuttgart outpost in America. Willhoit's passion for cars began with his father, who was a Rolls-Royce and Bentley guy, but the son went all German. He's never looked back, and today he has the distinct pleasure of driving around in a custom 1971 Porsche 911T.
