Porsche Has Converted A Car Into A Sound System

And it'll shatter your eardrums.

The latest in a long line of Porsche merchandise is something unexpected, but at the same time it kind of makes sense. It's a sound system made from genuine 911 parts, called the 911 Soundbar. It is a 2.1 virtual surround sound system that has a real silencer from the 911 GT3's original exhaust, which has been converted into a subwoofer. It looks really cool, comes with Bluetooth, and a ton of other features including a hefty price tag of 2,900 euros. Don't you want one now?

Well, probably not but it definitely is the kind of thing you'd like to see in someone else's house. The trick is getting that friend to buy it, so you are able to enjoy it. Either way, it's nice to know that Porsche picked the right car to take parts from.
