The Porsche Macan is a premium SUV, but if you want to make the interior more luxurious Carlex Design is willing to give the SUV a classy makeover. The design studio has unveiled its latest interior design for the Macan, which features a sumptuous mix of rose gold plated elements, Nappa leather in porcelain color, an elegant quilt pattern and black Alcantara. Not even the Bentley Bentayga has an interior fitted with as many opulent materials as this.

Carlex Design hasn't shown much restraint when applying the rose gold, as the precious metal covers the steering wheel spokes, door panels, dashboard, gearshift, and center console. Standard upholstery is replaced with porcelain white Nappa leather, complemented by a variety of quilting patterns on the seats, armrest, doors, and steering wheel. Black Alcantara also adorns the pillars and headliner to create an eye-catching contrast.

The classy cabin is certainly an acquired taste, but there are probably some rich fashion-conscious buyers out there who love the idea matching the interior with their rose gold wristwatch and smartphone. Carlex Design even supplies some keychains featuring rose gold and stitched leather matching the material used in the cabin.

The refreshed 2019 Porsche Macan is due to arrive in showrooms this summer with a starting price of $49,900. The base model is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 248 hp and 273 lb-ft, while the Macan S gets a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 producing 348 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. Interior goodies include a new 10.9-inch infotainment display to replace the old 7.2-inch screen, driver assists, and a 911-inspired GT steering wheel.
