Set for an official debut at LA this November, the Porsche Macan and Macan Turbo are currently going through final testing, and our spy photographers managed to snap some photos of pre-production examples. Unlike previous spy shots, these images show the Macan with very little camouflage. Yes, it does look almost exactly like a shrunken Cayenne. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Both the base and turbo models are shown here, and you can tell the difference between them due to the different front ends.

The back of the Turbo model also has quad exhaust pipes. Set to go head-to-head with the likes of the Audi Q5 and Range Rover Evoque, the Macan Turbo will come powered by a new twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 that'll be good for 400 horsepower. The base model will likely have a detuned version of that engine as well. We'll have more specific details as we get closer to November.
