It's been about a month since Porsche took the wraps off its new Cayman at the Los Angeles Auto Show. As expected, the updated Cayman takes its cues (and just about everything else) from the new Boxster, only with a fixed roof instead of the roadster body-style. That means a 275-horsepower, 2.7-liter flat six in the base Cayman, and a 325hp 3.4 in the Cayman S. What we hadn't seen until now, however, was footage of the new Cayman on the move. Fortunately, that's exactly what Porsche has now released.

The dynamic clip shows both specs of Cayman dicing it up through city streets, subterranean tunnels, elevated highways and misty mountain roads. Check it out below, then join us in wondering why automakers overwhelmingly default to techno beats in their promo clips instead of letting us hear the exhaust notes they've spent so much time perfecting.
