It seems the German tuning company has a penchant for taking Porsche Panameras and transforming them into lithe, powerful saloons. Only last October, Edo Competition presented a performance and aerodynamics makeover for the Panamera S, naming it the Hellboy. Their latest creation, based on the Turbo S, is claimed to be the most powerful Panamera ever with 700hp under the hood, yet just a year ago the Edo Competition delivered a 750hp of the car dubbed the Moby Dick.

Regardless, thanks to a host of modifications such as new exhaust manifolds and turbochargers, high-flow catalytic converters and air filters, a stainless steel high-performance exhaust system with butterfly valves and a reworking of the ECU, the stock V8 is enhanced by 150hp and 96lb-ft of torque to 700hp and 649lb-ft making it very quick indeed. Standstill to 62mph is timed at 3.5 seconds, down from 3.8; and 0-124mph at 11.4 seconds, a significant decrease from the stock's 13.5-second time. The 700hp sports saloon can also hit an electronically-limited top speed of 211mph.

Getting all this new power to the road is aided by the addition of a lowering module that takes the body 30mm closer to the tarmac and with it more precise handling and improved driving dynamics. New 22-inch carbon-fiber finish racing wheels are also available in different designs and finishes. Inside, fine leather and other high quality materials replace factory trim and can be tailored to customer's exact specifications.
