Porsche Planning KERS For Their Entire Lineup

Technology

Purists might see KERS as the creeping influence of the hybrid in the world of people who actually like driving, but the fact remains that it does make you go fast, and fast is good. To that end, Porsche now says that they will be including KERS in the new 911, and that the rest of the lineup will follow. The system isn't particularly heavy, and Porsche says the new 911 will actually still weigh 100 pounds less than the current model.
