Our spy photographer has revealed that Porsche is preparing a facelift for the Boxster. Similar to the intended upgrades for the 911, the refreshed Boxster is set to receive a revised front bumper with new LED DRLs and headlight graphics. The most interesting change, however, is happening underhood, with rumors suggested Porsche will fast-track its new turbo-four pot instead of waiting to use it in the next-gen model.

The German carmaker has previously said the new four-cylinder engine will be used in the next-generation Cayman and Boxster models, but it appears they are keen to unleash the new powerplant as soon as possible.
