Having introduced the facelifted Panamera lineup last year, Porsche is now looking to update the Cayenne SUV in order to bring the sporty SUV's styling in line with the Macan. Thanks to a spot of wind that blew off the cover, our spy photographer was able to capture the Cayenne's new face without much camo. Exterior changes afoot include new bumpers with redesigned intakes and DRLs, revised head- and tail-lights, and new exhaust tips.

Styling updates aside, the Cayenne will also receive a new powerplant, with the Cayenne S' naturally-aspirated V8 to be replaced by a new 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 rated at 420 horsepower. The Cayenne S Hybrid will also be replaced by a new Cayenne S E-Hybrid featuring the same powertrain as the 2014 Panamera S E-Hybrid, whose V6 and electric motor combine to generate 416 hp and up to 75 mpg. Further down the line, the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S will be updaed, with all models to receive tech updates. The Cayenne facelift will be unveiled at the 2014 New York Auto Show or Beijing Auto Show (or both) next month.
