Porsche Puts Its Entire US Inventory Online

Industry News / Comments

Buying the ideal Porsche is now easier than ever.

Not everyone can afford a Porsche, and not everyone should be driving one. But for those who can afford such a luxury item and can handle driving one, there is a huge variety out there. The latest Porsche Taycan has just been announced with new colors and better tech, the 2023 911 GT3 RS is on its way, and if you're into track stuff, Porsche and Manthey-Racing have a stunning special edition for you. But what if you don't want to wait? What if you want to buy a Porsche right now, but can't drive all over the state or even the country to find the perfect spec? Porsche makes things easier by putting its entire inventory online in a service called Porsche Finder.

The system was first introduced in May 2020 for Certified Pre-Owned and other used Porsches in dealer inventory. Now, the e-commerce platform has been expanded to include all new vehicle inventory from its 193 dealerships in the US. The system helps you estimate a trade-in value and can compare financing options from Porsche Financial Services too. Naturally, Porsche dealers are excited about the prospects, and buyers will likely be happy to view cars online when health concerns are still swirling around the world.

President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, Dr. Kjell Gruner says, "Porsche drivers have high standards. They often know exactly what they want and do detailed research before making a purchase. This upgrade helps them do that."

Making the system easy to use is the ability to type your ZIP code into finder.porsche.com along with the model you want. We should note that this feature has been available on "lesser" brands' sites for years, but it helps nonetheless. Once the ZIP code is entered, the buyer can then browse searches based on color, options, and body type.

Alternatively, one can search a specific dealer's inventory and browse all the vehicle's on offer at their nearest outlet. The aforementioned payment calculator can estimate leasing and financing terms too, while an online credit application tool streamlines the process and reduces paperwork too. So if you've been wanting to find something like new 911 Turbo S, you now know where to look first.
