SUVs are a difficult thing for sports car companies. Even those that have worked out how to build them, as Porsche has, marketing them is a different challenge. The vehicle has to at once project rugged off-road ability, but still be convincing in its ability as an on-road performance machine. So Porsche has released this new video showing the how and why of the new Macan's handling abilities. Is the Macan a better off-roader or does live up to its Porsche heritage as a performance car wonder?

Reviewers have generally all been in agreement that the Macan does indeed handle very well, but apparently Porsche was worried that you might not have heard.
