Last year, Porsche unveiled the Taycan Cross Turismo, a more practical off-road-focused version of the electric sports car. If you want to take the Taycan Cross Turismo off the grid, Db, a company that specializes in fashionable clothing and gear for outdoor enthusiasts, has unveiled a new package that transforms the Taycan Cross Turismo into a comfortable camper for off-road explorers.

Combining the Taycan Cross Turismo's off-road prowess with a range of Db's high-end Raspberry Edition luggage range, the Taycan Cross Turismo Discoverberry Bundle includes a rooftop tent that matches the Taycan Cross Turismo's matte burgundy paint. Other accessories in the bundle include a 60L roller bag, 30L backpack, and a camping kit. We particularly like the rally-style front-mounted lights.

This will cost you a grand total of $250,000, including the price of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo. Db hasn't said which trim the Taycan Cross Turismo camper is based on, but the Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo starts at $187,600. That means Db's accessories add up to $62,400, which seems pricey for an electric wagon with a tent on the roof and some camping gear.

For comparison, Form Camper's folding camper for the Tesla Cybertruck starts at $69,500, but at least you get a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen and a large living space that looks a lot more comfortable.

If you want a more road-focused version of the Cross Turismo, Porsche recently unveiled the new GTS Sport Turismo at the 2021 LA Auto Show. Positioned above the Taycan Cross Turismo and below the Turbo Cross Turismo, the GTS Sport Turismo is powered by two electric motors generating 590 horsepower.

It also ditches the Cross Turismo's body cladding for a cleaner look and has a lower ride height and a body-colored spoiler. Pricing for the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo starts at $133,300, with deliveries expected to start in Q2, 2022.
