TechArt has a reputation for being one of the most prolific Porsche tuners in the world. A couple of months ago, the German firm gave the Porsche 911 Turbo an 800-hp upgrade, so we've been eager to see how it plans to enhance the electric Taycan. TechArt has been working on new upgrades for the Techart for over a year now, starting with new forged wheels and a custom interior.

Now, the German automaker is expanding its personalization options with a new carbon fiber styling package for the Taycan that makes Porsche's electric super sedan look even more striking while improving the car's aerodynamics.

At the front, TechArt has fitted a new front spoiler and splitter, complemented with new air intakes - all made of carbon fiber. New carbon side skirts with fins give the Porsche Taycan a sportier look and the side mirrors are trimmed in carbon. At the back, the custom Taycan features a multi-part carbon fiber diffuser with fins and a subtle rear spoiler. Techart badging is also applied to the rear and the doors.

TechArt's carbon fiber parts are available in a custom color, in either a gloss or matt finish. Prospective owners will also soon be able to visualize the custom Taycan using TechArt's state-of-the-art online 3D configurator.

Overall, TechArt's Taycan body kit looks surprisingly restrained and complements the electric sedan's sleek styling. No modifications have been made to the powertrain, but it's surely only a matter of time before TechArt extracts more power from the Taycan.

In its most powerful Turbo S guise, the Porsche Taycan is powered by a dual-motor setup generating a combined 750 hp with 774 lb-ft of torque with overboost. This enables the electric sedan to sprint from 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds, 0-124 mph in 9.6 seconds, and top out at 161 mph.
