With the Porsche Macan rolling off production lines in Leipzig and headed for the US, Porsche's sixth car is poised to bring its worldwide sales to an all-time high. But there's more to come from Stuttgart. Speaking at the Macan's official launch, Porsche CEO Matthias Muller said that a seventh model is likely to be introduced in the near future. Adding a seventh model, he said, would fit perfectly into the company's seven-year life cycle for its models, allowing it to roll out a new product every year.
If we had seven models we could have a major event each year, as well as the variants", said Muller. Though he refused to elaborate, the most likely selection would be a BMW 5-Series-fighter, such as the Pajun (Panamera Junior) which we recently told you about. Taking on the likes of the Audi A6 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Pajun should - in true Porsche form - offer more performance than its competitors. The Pajun has been imagined in various shapes and forms, but is expected to mirror the design language of the successful Panamera.
