Nissan has just revealed pricing details for the new Titan XD that's arriving for the 2016 model year. The starting price for the Titan XD is $40,290, which doesn't include the $1,195 destination and handling fee. If you require a pickup truck with 4X4, the cheapest Titan XD starts at $43,290. For enthusiasts that enjoy off-roading, the Titan XD can be fitted with a "Pro-4X" that adds off-road tires, Bilstein shocks, 18-inch alloys, skid plates and an electronic locking rear differential.
The top-of-the-line Titan XD starts at a whopping $60,520 and is referred to as the Platinum Reserve Crew Cab. The range-topping pickup truck comes with leather-appointed heated seats, two-tone paint, dark chrome exterior accents, 20-inch dark chrome wheels and a leather-wrapped wood-insert steering wheel. While the 2015 Nissan Titan was cheaper at $45,000 for the highest trim level, the upcoming Titan XD represents a saving of a few thousand dollars over its American counterparts. The entire lineup comes with the 5.0-liter diesel powerplant, which was co-developed by Cummins and delivers 310 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque. There's no word on pricing or a release date for the V6 and V8-powered Titan XD.
