The Audi R8 is undoubtedly one of the best all-around supercars on the market today, setting the benchmark on how such a mid-engined exotic can also serve as a daily driver for those with the means to buy one. The R8 looks fantastic, sounds great and has aged gracefully since its initial launch back in 2006. Now German tuning firm Prior Design has revealed a new styling package for owners who'd like to give their car a more individualized appearance. The result is quite striking, though certainly not for the introverted among us.

Called the PD GT6540 Aerodynamic Kit, the package includes new front and rear bumpers with side vents, a front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, a large fixed rear wing and a cool roof scoop. Nothing was done under the hood to enhance performance. Prior Design claims the package is compatible with the R8 coupe but wasn't clear whether it can also be applied to the recently facelifted 2013 model. All told, the package costs €19,900, and buyers have the option of installing the kit themselves or by the guys at the tuner's facility in Germany.
