It's official that Aston Martin's pint-size Cygnet will go into production. It's been interesting watching Aston Martin, a car company that makes big GTs, making the gradual shift to fuel efficient vehicles. The Cygnet seems to be the answer to the difficulties many of us face navigating crowded city streets. The Cygnet until now was only a concept, and heavily based on the Toyota iQ. This vehicle, however, will be hand-assembled at Aston's factory in England, alongside the company's Grand Tourers.
Some customers have been critical of this new vehicle, but it's anyone's guess how it will be received on the market. Producing will start in 2011, but we'll get the details about pricing and specifications later this year.
