March marks the 150th anniversary of Italy's unification. What better way to celebrate this occasion than a new special edition. This is what the Italian automaker Fiat has done with its special edition version of the Punto Evo supermini called the Punto 150. It's distinguished by a bespoke honeycomb grille, two-tone lightweight alloy wheels, "Azzurro Italia" special metallic paint and the "Italia 150" commemorative badges.
Power for this special edition comes from a choice of three engines; including two gas powered 1.2- and 1.4-liter engines, and one 1.3-liter diesel. All are fitted with a start-stop system as standard. The special anniversary model will be priced in Italy starting at $14,000, but Fiat hasn't mentioned if the Punto 150 will be exclusively sold in Italy or if we will see it sold in other European countries as well.
