The 2021 Aston Martin DBX is the company's first SUV model and is expected to become the brand's best-seller when it hits the market later this year. But before Aston Martin has delivered a single DBX, the company wants to give customers more exclusive options from its Q by Aston Martin bespoke division. Debuting at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, the DBX is now available with three levels of Q customization: Commission, Collection, Accessories.

This particular example, which will be on display at Geneva, is fitted with a number of custom touches including a Satin Xenon Grey paint job combined with bespoke 22-inch gloss black wheels for a stealthy appearance. Other bespoke pieces include a carbon fiber lower exterior pack and black anodized tread and sill plaques.

Inside, Obsidian Black leather matches the dark exterior but is accented by a brilliant new diamond-patterned satin chrome aluminum jewelry pack that is machined from solid aluminum. This is one of the most unique materials we have seen on the interior of a car and we adore it. Aston Martin has also installed carbon fiber on the DBX's floating center console and door trims. The large centerpiece is machined from a solid block with 280 individual layers of carbon fiber, which requires 90 hours of five-axis milling.

"While our designer specifications previously demonstrated an incredibly broad range of choice and expression from our existing palette of colors and materials, 'Q by Aston Martin' offers the tools to those who have an uninhibited desire to push the boundaries of what is achievable," says Marek Reichman, Aston Martin Executive Vice President & Chief Creative Officer.

"Of course, the example shown today is just one sphere of inspiration that can be explored, but with DBX providing the ultimate canvas to bring a vision to life, I fully expect to see a wide and broad variety of creations over the coming months," Reichman added.

The Aston Martin DBX starts at $189,900 in the US but we suspect these Q by Aston Martin additions will increase the price greatly. DBX deliveries will begin in the second half of 2020 for North America.
