If the Q5 isn't large enough for you, then the Q7 may be the answer. Launched in 2007, it has recently been updated for the 2009 model year. With an available 350 horsepower 4.2 liter V8 (a 280 horsepower V6 is standard), there is plenty of power to get the job done. Equipped with the Audi Music Interface feature, it allows for occupants to incorporate their iPod or any other MP3 player into the car's sound system.
Another interesting feature is called Side Assist, which detects blind-spots and acts as a warning system for possible side impacts. As such, it has been deemed to be one of the safest SUV's on the road today. There is also a third-row seat that, while small in space, does allow up to seven passengers at a time.
