With its two engines working together to produce around 360 hp, the cutting-edge BMW i8 sports car has a claimed 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds. The F80 M3 comes powered by a 425-hp 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six which, when mated to a seven-speed twin-clutch box, takes just 4.1 seconds to reach 60 mph and is said to hit the quarter-mile in the low twelves. Although we recently saw one clock it in 11.66 seconds. On paper then, the M3 should be able to take down the i8 on the drag strip.
