R10 Concept Envisions Ultimate Audi

Audi may have ditched plans for a R10 supercar, but that hasn't stopped this design graduate from dreaming.

Without citing why, Audi has decided not to press ahead with its R8-topping supercar but that hasn't stopped Spanish transportation designed David Cava from envisioning what it could look like. With inspiration coming from Audi's LMP and old F1 cars, the two-seater supercar is powered by a twin-turbo V8 mounted mid-ship. Jet fighters have influenced the advanced position of the cockpit and arrow-shaped body, as well as its aerodynamic features. Yet the "vorsprung durch technik" philosophy and signature taught lines ensure the design concept is unmistakably Audi.
