Just days ago, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato was revealed at the 2011 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. And as expected, the race-spec version of that beautiful machine has now been previewed. The British automaker is currently prepping the car for track. In the meantime, a single rendering has been previewed showing what the Zagato V12 will look like. And we like what we see: a near-identical resemblance to the road car, albeit with a large rear wing, a front lip, and blacked-out wheels.
Real pictures will begin pouring in very shortly, as the racer makes its debut Saturday, May 27th at the 53rd ADAC ACAS H&R-Cup VLN Race. Later in June, not one but two V12 Zagato's will be partaking in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring. On top of all this, the V12 Zagato won the Concorso d'Eleganza Design Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes, all but securing it a place (likely very limited) in the future production lineup.
