Ayrton Senna was an exceptional racing driver, but fans are often quick to point out the non-racing achievements that showed him to also be a fine human being, one of which was jumping out of his car to save the life of Eric Comas. It is in this spirit that we see sprint car racer Rico Abreu performing the same act to aid driver Tim Kaeding. There had been flames coming from the car after the crash, and his concern was that methanol burns invisibly and Kaeding might be trapped and on fire.

Kaeding turned out to be fine, but it is inspiring to see Abreu rush to his aid without even the slightest hesitation, and we applaud him for that.
