Radical RXC Goes Turbo at Autosport International Show

Adding 80 hp to its non-turbo brother’s 380, the RXC Turbo is street-legal and smoking hot.

One year after the Radical RXC was unveiled at Autosport International, the UK’s leading show for performance, racing and sports cars, the company has presented its turbocharged big brother. Making over 500 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm, this 460 hp beast has received a 7-speed paddle-shift transmission. Hitting 0-60 mph in approximately 2.6 seconds, this lightweight speedster tops out at 185 mph and weighs just 2072 lbs.

The RXC Turbo is equipped with 17 inch center-lock cast alloy wheels and adjustable suspension. Adapting it to its street-legal status, the RXC Turbo is also fitted with crash boxes, air conditioning and an actual roof. But with a starting price of £129,000 in the carmaker's hometown, don’t expect to see too many RXCs or RXC Turbos lining up after soccer practice.
