Ram Boosts 2015 Truck Lineup to 865 lb-ft of Torque

With base models producing 400 lb-ft.

Grippingto deliver a best-in-class spec in the competitive pickup market, Ramhas just announced it will up the power delivery for its 2015 truck lineup. The biggest boost comes in the top-of-the-line 3500 HD, withits 6.7-liter diesel engine delivering 856 lb-ft of torque and 385horsepower. Stepping down the torque ladder with the same engine, the 68RFEwith six-speed automatic transmission will deliver 370 hp and 800 lb-ft.

For the least powerful of the diesels, the six-speedmanual will deliver 660 lb-ft and 350 hp. For gasoline HD engines, the5.7-liter base V8 makes 383 hp and 400 lb-ft, and the 6.4-liter V8 produces410 hp and 429 lb-ft. Check out the official announcement here:
