The first time Ram showed off its new super-stretch Long-Hauler Concept truck, the photos were less than perfect in terms of quality and visibility. Chrysler has decided to change that by bringing in a professional who managed to shoot a few high-resolution images. The truck has been on display at selected events across the United States and is based on a Class 5 Ram 5500 Chassis Cab.
The power source for the concept truck includes an inline six-cylinder 6.7-liter High Output Cummins Turbo Diesel engine rated at 800 lb-ft of torque. Inside, the interior is equipped with some noise reduction materials, leather seating, and power-adjustable footrests in the rear seats. For now, the Ram Long-Hauler is only a concept that will be displayed across the country for the next eight months to help gauge public opinion on the vehicle. Enjoy the pictures in the meantime.
