German tuning firm gives the 2013 Range Rover a new attitude by adding some sport performance flavor and accessories.
The all-new 2013 Land Rover Range Rover was revealed not long ago, but German tuning firm Lumma Design has already managed to get its eager tuning hands on one. Now the company has released official pictures and specs of its new package for the luxury SUV called the CLR R. The most noticeable change to the vehicle is the new aerodynamic body kit, which consists of an aggressive front bumper as well as a carbon fiber hood and a distinctive new grille treatment.
The wheel arches on both front and rear axles has been further emphasized along with extended side skirt panels to give the SUV a more athletic look. All told, the CLR R package adds about 50 mm to each side. There's also a full carbon rear bumper, diffuser and tailpipe deflectors along with an extended roof spoiler. A sport suspension module brings the SUV 40mm closer to the ground, while the Range Rover's 5.0-liter V8 has been bumped from 510 horsepower to 540, though further enhancements will soon push output to 560 hp. Custom exhaust, throttle body and 22-inch wheels are also part of the package that will be available starting this Spring.
