Ahead of its public introduction in Dubai and LA next month, Land Rover has introduced its first Range Rover Long Wheelbase in twenty years. With its Chinese lovers of expansive rear cabins in mind, Land Rover has created an extra 140mm of rear leg room. The LWB edition measures in at 5.2 meters, allowing for rear seats to recline 17 degrees, more than double that of the standard RR. It's available with either an 'Executive' two-seat arrangement or the standard bench set up.

Rear passengers can control the front passenger seats if they want more room and a set of powered blinds on the side windows keep things private. Other standard goodies include increased stowage capacity and a panoramic sunroof. The new "L" model will be available for the Range Rover Vogue, Vogue SE, Autobiography and new Autobiography Black models. The latest range-topping trim receive exterior tweaks in the form of a restyled grille, new badges, and a choice of exclusive high-gloss seven-spoke 21- and 22-inch alloys.

The cabin gets plenty of new toys, such as rear TV screens, massage rear seats, LED mood lighting, a chiller compartment, special leathers, electric leather tray tables and extended center console. Delivers of the first Range Rover LWB will begin next March with prices set to be announced nearer the time.
