Land Rover started something pretty significant when it launched the Range Rover Evoque back in 2011. It was an immediate hit with the press and public alike. Here was proof that people wanted a luxurious, but compact, crossover with some off-road capabilities. Point being, the likes of the Porsche Cayenne and even the Range Rover and Land Rover LR4 were a bit too big. Time to downsize. The Evoque was such a huge hit that Porsche decided to fast track development of the Macan.

And now the premium compact crossover segment is huge, and automakers are making tons of money off of them. So of course, it would make complete sense to offer high-performance versions. Porsche has the Macan Turbo, but Land Rover is lacking an Evoque equivalent. Rendering artist Theophilus Chin has just come up with a solution to this: a Range Rover Evoque SVR. We think it looks great, but we'd hope if LR were to build it rear doors would be added.
